Blocking Facebook in the Apple Safari browser can stop anyone from accessing it via that browser program. It can be the best way to keep your kids and business employees from accessing Facebook or prevent them from spending time on the social network. You can turn it off in the web browser in Mac’s operating system preferences. You will require creating the new account for the user; however, it can’t manage which site is blocked until you will use the parental controls on Mac to block Facebook. For any queries or questions resolution, you can avail the quick Facebook customer service. Otherwise, follow the below steps to disable the Facebook.

Step 1- Open the Finder by clicking on the blue icon on the Dock. Choose the ‘Applications’ in the left corner and go through the applications’ list until you locate the ‘System Preferences’ menu. Double-click on the icon to open it. Click the ‘Accounts’ icon under the ‘System Preferences’ window.

Step 2 – Click on the lock icon at the lower left of the screen and input the admin password in the pop-up window to go into the user accounts. Hit the ‘+’ symbol in the lower left sidebar to add the new account.

Step 3 – Input the complete name of the account’s user, the username, the password, password verification and the password hint in the respective text fields.

Step 4 – Click on the ‘Create Account’ button to make and save the account. Click the ‘Turn off Automatic Login’ option in the prompt window so that you should input your password to access the account. It stops you from accessing the parental controls, where you can unblock Facebook.

Step 5 – Click the newly made user account in the left corner to choose it. Click the ‘Enable Parental Controls’ check box to select it. Click the ‘Open Parental Controls’ option to the right to modify these controls.

Step 6 - Click the newly generated user account on the left sidebar again to choose it. Click the ‘Content’ tab at the upper of the page. Choose the ‘Limit access to adult websites automatically’ option and click the ’Customize’ button under it.

Step 7 – Click the ‘+’ button under the ‘Don’t allow these websites’ section. Input the ‘http://facebook.com,’ and press the ‘Return’ key on the keyboard. Click on the ‘OK’ blue button to block the Facebook site on that account.

Now, you will get your Facebook site blocked, and no one can access it anymore.
